Nipple Correction
Besides to the shape and volume of the breast, the appearance of the nipples and warts is also important. Its size, position and appearance are also decisive for the aesthetics of the breast. The shape of the nipples is usually congenital, but changes can occur due to pregnancy or severe weight fluctuations. A nipple correction can create the desired aesthetic and correct any dysfunctions. We carry out these procedures, depending on the extent, under local anesthesia or general anesthesia. Reasons for nipple corrections are e. g.
- inverted nipples
- Nipple reduction
- Areola reduction
- Asymmetrical nipples
inverted nipple correction
Schlupfwarzen are perceived as unaesthetic. The nipples are either congenital or may occur after breastfeeding. This can be adjusted in a simple operation, in local anesthesia. With a small incision in the middle of the nipple, the Milchgänge that are too short are cut and the nipple is pulled outwards. A permanent loss of breastfeeding after the correction may occur.
nipple reduction
Too long or thick nipples look optically unpleasant. They can also rub clothing and cause ultimately inflammation. During the operation, under local anesthesia, the excess tissue is reduced by a fine cut across the nipple and the nipple is reshaped. A permanent loss of breastfeeding after the correction may occur.
Areola reduction
Some women suffer from particularly large nipples. A too large or uneven Brustwarzenhof can be corrected and optically adjusted by a nipple reduction. This reduces the Brustwarzenhof by means of ring- or crescent-shaped skin removal. Depending on the extent, this may be done under local anesthesia or general anesthesia.
